Linda is a Physical Therapist at Lake Chelan Community Hospital & Clinics loves our Foundation!
She is a well-rounded Physical Therapist, and her department continually strives to stay educated and current on best practices.
To date, she has taken three continuing education trainings, paid for by the Foundation, that have expanded her skill sets and enabled her to offer more services to our valley.
- “Big and Loud” – Parkinson’s Movement Education/PT Sessions
This certificated training program is aimed at helping people with Parkinson’s by focusing on an intensive amplitude-based exercise program. I am currently offering this training to individuals with Parkinson’s which consists of 16 sessions, 4 days/week. - Orthotics Training – Focused on proper foot support to manage chronic and acute pain.
- “Calming an over-active brain”
This is a “mind/body connection” training that focuses on mindfulness in helping individuals manage their stress and their pain levels. An evidence-based program to reduce unwanted thoughts and facilitate well-being. The mind/body connection is an important component of Linda’s PT treatments.
Linda offers exercise classes at the Chelan Senior Center on Mondays and Wednesdays, 1:00pm. Join her there for some fun and exercise!
