2017 Lake Chelan Home Tour

The Lake Chelan Community Hospital’s GUILD B has lined up four beautiful homes for residents and visitors to tour. All tour proceeds are used to purchase much-needed equipment for the hospital. Even before the first Lake Chelan Community Hospital opened its doors in August of 1948, Guild B was founded to provide it with community-based support.  Guild B’s major fund raising projects began in 1948 with a Rummage Sale.  In 2000, Guild B held its first Home Tour and in 2004 added an Art Show.

Guild B’s annual Home Tour and Art Show continues to finance a broad array of hospital equipment from patient monitors, arterial blood readers, and a computerized treadmill for cardiac assessment, to a second operating room that more than doubled the number of surgeries that can be performed.  

Recent year’s purchases have been a state-of-the-art emergency room defibrillator that hospital staff assured us would “save lives,” neonatal equipment to monitor jaundice in newborns without the necessity of a blood test, and upgrading the DEXA bone scan machine.

Guild B is as old as the hospital it serves, and as dedicated to providing high quality health care for the community.  We thank our community business partners and guests who have attended our events in helping to provide needed hospital equipment.
